On snap!!!!!!!!! More games!!!!!
ReplyDelete*runs away from the internets, wishes doom upon this post!
I think it's a pretty good idea.
ReplyDeleteFirst Humble Bundle for me, and what a great one to start with. Played Limbo before, but haven't touched the others, though I've heard good things.
ReplyDeleteLimbo is still as amazing as I remember it being.
At least you should be able to plug through them somewhat quickly. I think Limbo took me about 4 hours, Amnesia around 6 or 7. I haven't played more than a bit of Bastion so far, but I've read around 9 hours for that one. All three of those titles are incredibly solid though, and I'm a huge fan of game soundtracks to boot. :)
ReplyDeleteAgreed. These usually come with Steam keys too. My son's got a free account, so this would legitimize his account cheaply. hehe
ReplyDeleteLimbo was amazing, I concur. I gave it a very good review if you're curious:

Always great stuff in these bundles. I seem to be overlapping much more with what I already have these days, but suppose being charitable is good. Only two I don'o thave are Psychonauts and S&S. Certainly worth it with the soundtracks.
ReplyDeleteThat's exactly where I'm at game-wise. Though, you get a steam code too you can use to 'verify' a steam account, so I may pick one up just to plug a few games into my son's account too
ReplyDeleteSo, I was coming here to rage against the machine, after seeing they added 3 new "locked" games to the bundle today.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking, "Wow, so I purchased early, and got "Bastion" because I paid above average...but that means I have to buy ANOTHER bundle to get the new "locked" games!?"
That's what I was thinking...until our good friend that never completes games (or blog posts for that matter) from http://incompletegaming.blogspot.com/, said he thought I would get them for already paying above the average price originally.
I didn't receive an email update on it (yet), so I found the original and checked it...SURE ENOUGH! All the added games are listed.
That is full of win!

ROFL!
ReplyDeleteyup, I got the email about that a bit earlier today. That's generally how they handle those add-ons. Really, they're very good in general about making sure you get plenty of good games. Guess you'll have to save that righteous anger for another time, like when your coffee maker breaks down. :)

ReplyDeleteI'm sure there's an E3 post coming up soon...
Yeah that incomplete guy hardly completes anything he buys. I mean, re-beating VVVVVV on 3DS or Portal 2 doesn't count!
I'm really going to ramp up the blog posts too back to 1/month too, haha.
Coffee: Will be watching the SuperMeatBoy leaderboards now and expecting good things.
