Borderlands has been stretching out a bit with the Pre-sequel and Telltales' more story focused Tales from the Borderlands. Those hoping to see a bit more of the action-based titles on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are going to be in luck - soon.
Here is the release info:
Great news! 2K and Gearbox announced today that Borderlands: The Handsome Collection is coming to the PS4 and Xbox One on March 24th, 2015 for $59.99. Fans will be able to experience Handsome Jack’s rise to power in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and his reign as maniacal Hyperion CEO in Borderlands 2, in one package and all in high definition. Borderlands: The Handsome Collection also includes all of the downloadable content for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and Borderlands 2. Another first in Borderlands history is 4-player split screen with up to four friends playing together on a single television. Additionally, accomplished Vault Hunters can even transfer their saves from prior-gen systems to next-gen within the same console family!
Also announced today, a very limited run of 5,000 Borderlands: The Handsome Collection Claptrap-in-a-Box Editions will be available on March 24, 2015 for $399 and will include a remote-controlled Claptrap that can speak in “Claptrap”, stream live footage and is fully mobile while balancing on one wheel. The Claptrap-in-a-Box Edition also comes with a collectible steel package and 12 exclusive lithographs.
We have some screens to go with it:
