Touhou Genso Rondo: Bullet Ballet coming to North America this fall

The title is a mouthful, but the game looks like it could be pretty entertaining. It's a three day holiday weekend here in the States so we'll be taking Monday off and back to our usual posting shenanigans comes Tuesday morning bright and early. Take care and we hope you all have a safe weekend.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End - PS4 Review

With amazing production values, characters I cared about, an entertaining story and plenty to see and do along the way, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End may not be the best game in the series overall, but it is a fitting conclusion that shows Naughty Dog continues to deliver the goods with their games.

Alienation - PS4 Review

Humanity stands at the brink of extinction and it may come at no big surprise that it’s the various government's fault. Knowing for decades about an alien threat already present on the planet and covering up the incidents as to not alarm the general public, one group stands as the final bulwark but even they may not be enough so save what’s left of our race. Equipped with new exoskeletons to provide speed, power, and protection, even that may not be enough to turn the tide.

Avalon Lords: Dawn Rises - PC Preview

Avalon Lords: Dawn Rises is a solid game that still has some pretty rough edges on it. The potential is undeniable, with a handful of good systems that should appeal to a variety of different players so long as you are willing to put the time into learning your way around the game.

HyperX Cloud Revolver Gaming Headset - Hardware Review

The HyperX Cloud series of headsets have been a favorite around here; we loved the first iteration, the Cloud and the follow-up headset, the Cloud II. Half-way between the Cloud II and the Revolver release, Kingston launched a basic headset, the Cloud Core, which was a stripped down, more affordable headset that was very similar to the original Cloud. Even the Cloud Core, their "entry level" headset provided premium sound at budget pricing. Today we are taking a look at the new flagship, the Cloud Revolver.

Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows - Retro Reflections

Gauntlet was a famous hack and slash dungeon crawler during the eighties and this is why I bought this remake years ago. My initial experience was not pleasant, as the DVD had loading problems and, when I started the first level I was assaulted constantly by endless enemies running to me like maniacs. However, soon I begun to enjoy the game.

Doom - PS4 Review

When you think Doom, you think fast-paced, difficult combat, with enemies in every direction and a hellish landscape around you. Luckily for us, this is what we get in the remake for this series, something that meets every expectation. The campaign offers what you’d generally expect from Doom, you start off almost immediately fighting, with little in the way of tutorials at first.

Raining Blobs - PC Review

When it comes to puzzle games, they often tend to feel familiar to one another. A few different varieties tend to emerge, such as navigating passages, matching colors or filling up rows as pieces fall from above. Raining Blobs is a familiar, lightweight experience that is fun in small doses, but does not provide enough content to keep me coming back for more.
